Inverter 1000/1800 has no power

Why does my inverter not have power?

It could be a problem with the inverter or the battery. A- With the unit unplugged, put a meter on the female power cord. Voltage should be 110v with a true RMS meter. B- With unit plugged in and charging, put a meter on the + and - connection at the inverter. Reading should be close to 12v on each connection. C- If you have another unit; take that battery and swap out. If you still have an issue, replace the inverter, if the issue is resolved, charge old battery or replace the battery.
