Troubleshooting the B235 and B237 (Xantrex HF1000 and HF1800)

Confirm the battery connections are correct (red to red, black to black) and tight. Confirm the phone word is securely connected to the back of the meter. Confirm the fuse is not blown. With the unit on, double check the following default settings by pressing the "Select" button: Voltage - Electrical Battery Voltage Input Current - Electrical Current from Battery Output Power - Present Electrical Load IN1 - Inverter Enabled 20A for B235 and 40A for B237 - Charge Current AL1 - Alarm Enabled SDL - Shutdown Low Confirm the "tell tale fuse" is not blown. Confirm when the charge cord is plugged in, there is a click and the fan engages. Confirm the cords are hardwired correctly (L=Black, G=Ground, N=White) Try another meter and see if this resolves the issue.
