Troubleshooting the B265 (Xantrex HFS2055)
Confirm the battery connections are correct (red to red, black to black) and tight. Confirm the phone cord is securely connected to the back of the meter. Confirm the fuse is not blown. With the unit on, double check the following default settings by pressing the "Select" button: Voltage - Electrical Battery Voltage Input Current - Electrical Current from Battery Output Power - Present Electrical Load IN1 - Inverter Enabled 55A (35A on NB480) - Charge Current AGM - Battery Type AL1 - Alarm Enabled SDL - Shutdown Low Confirm the "tell tale fuse" is not blown. Confirm when the charge cord is plugged in, there is a click and the fan engages. Confirm the cords are hardwired correctly (L=Black, G=Ground, N=White). These are not easily seen on this like on the B235/B237. Try another meter and see if this resolves the issue. NOTE: This meter is not compatible with the B235/B237.
