How to figure out battery run time using Amp and Watt hours
Formula is as follows
Amp of battery x 12 volts = watt hours
Then you add an “inefficiency factor of .75”
Example: 26ah x 12volts (*inefficiency factor of .75) = 234 watt hours .
Example of customer setup: Computer and monitor amounting to 60 watts (usage).
60 watts usage would be 234 watts hours divided by 60 watts usage = 3.9 hours.
To figure out how much a customer would need in terms of watt hours take customer setup and multiple by hours needed
Example: 30 watts x 8 hours would be 240 watt hours.
