Newcastle has not done testing of this nature, although the information from the inverter/charger and battery datasheets should get a close approximation. This only applies to the Pp55 specifically.
- The battery bank has a capacity of either 2400Wh.
- When charging, it will depend on how depleted it is. The charger output 40A at 14.5V ( ~ 600W). Most battery chargers are around 80% efficient.
- When in use, it will depend on the load on the inverter. The inverter is capable of 1800W maximum continuous output. It is roughly 85% efficient at 50% (900W).
Also note, the above only accounts for our power supply, Heat from their onboard devices (e.g. laptop) should also be considered.
